Uhhh…. What a week. First of all, if someone offers you one hour of free sake shots, decline. Lesson learned…
Other than that, the rest of the week was amazing! We are going to be in a new home! At the end of 2010 we are moving into a warehouse in Maplewood, Missouri! Even better than that, we will only be about one fifth of the shenanigans going on in there. Besides us, Gabe Usery and Justice Hammer Studios will be moving in, we are going to have 6 practice rental spaces, screen printing shop and lots of other stuff. We have a ton of work ahead and I’ll let you know the progress.
Test presses for the next four releases should be here very soon!
And I think we finalized our next 3 releases for the year as well, and I already know of 2 for 2011.
We have one finished design for the oil spill shirts and are waiting for one more.
OK, back to work.
Looking for an artist for a charity project!

This oil spill crap is beyond infuriating!! I really want to try and raise a little bit of money for the people and animals down there. We are looking for an artist to create an image for a t-shirt design. The proceeds from the shirt sales will be donated to a charity working in the Gulf. We are still doing some research on which charity we will donate too, but we figured we could get started with the design now. If you are interested in helping us by donating a drawing for a shirt, please get in touch. This disaster is going to be around for a long time to come, so maybe we could even do a series of shirts. So once again, PLEASE get in touch!!!

Wow, almost a month since I posted an update here. Things are busy, which is fantastic! Just sent off the masters for our next 4 releases! So with four new releases out this summer, we are going to try and move a few things off our shelf over the next few weeks. Got a few cool things going on. We officially have the second band for the Everything Went Black split 7" and that band is Rattletooth from Louisville, KY! These guys are an amazing hardcore band that will fit in extremely well with Everything Went Black. Both bands are working on their tracks as we speak. Speaking of Everything Went Black, we got in a bunch of copies of their new 7" Altars and Arsonists on Put Ya' Hands Up Records. We have both colors, Red and Clear for sale in the store. Luke from ((Thorlock)) sent me an email last night and it sounds like we are about to get going with their new 7". This is going to be absolutely ridiculous. I can wait to start working on this one.
Getting very close to sending out the masters for the Black For a Second/The Wifflers split 7" and The Haddonfields/Jetty Boys split.
I also heard the first 4 demo's from the new Disappeared full length. Holy shit these tracks are amazing! I don't even know what to say. If the rest of the songs turn out this well, this is going to be my favorite record of the year.
The Disappeared is also playing at The Firebird tonight with Bridge 9's Crime in Stereo. It's gonna be good times. See ya there!
