2/10/10 - 10:20 P.M.

Real quick...

Teenage Rehab 7"s are done. Alex is going to pick them up from the plant soon.

Approved the test presses for The Disappeared - NothingSomeoneSomething

New website and webstore to be debuted on March 1st. Both 7"s will hopefully be available that day and I will be putting up 400 records from my personal collection for sale. Pretty good mix of stuff... I have a chance to pick up a ton of really rare No Idea records for my collection, but they are a little pricy. Please help me out with this one!!!

1/24/10 - 7:10 P.M.

Where does the time go? I have no idea either... This is going to be a short one cause I got a ton of stuff to do today.

First and foremost, I need to send out congradulations to The Disappeared. They are being featured in April issue of Alternative Press in the article, "100 Bands to know in 2010"! All of them have been working so hard over the last couple years and I believe it is truely deserved. I believe the street date is March 2nd.

So what are we going to do about this you ask? Well, we are giving Nothing + Someone = Something the vinyl treatment! There are going to be 3 songs on the 7" and an extra song included in the download. The lacquers were cut on Friday and are showing up at the plant on Monday. 500 copies on lime green vinyl. I think the artwork is going to be different too. We will of course screen print the jackets as well.

One more quick note on The D... They have a brand new website, it's pretty sweet. Thanks to Tim Scheman for all of his hard work!

Teenage Rehab test presses are in and they sound good to me! Just waiting for the band to approve them. Should have the finished records in mid-February. Alex got the test presses on Friday, but he was too busy to actually listen to them. He was leaving to go see some band called The Riverdales. Whatever bud, I see how you are...

Hoepefully by the end of next week or early the week after, you will all be seeing a brand new I Hate Punk Records website and webstore! I can't wait! Both fit together way better. We will have actual shipping options for you and we will finally be able to sell t-shirts and hoodies and digital downloads! And the most important for all of you, we will be installing a customer rewards program! For every item you purchase you will recieve a certain amount of points. Those points can be used as money for future orders. I think you are all going to like it a lot.

OK, so not as short as I thought, but real quick... working on a split 12" by two St. Louis bands, Black For a Second and The Wifflers. Guessing sometime this spring or early summer... Oh yeah, I have one word for you... ((Thorlock)). Get into it.

Later.

12/16/09 - 7:10 P.M.

I can't believe how busy we've been lately and it seems like we have a ton of events coming up. First of all, if you haven't picked up the new Haddonfields LP yet, you are, um.... well..... trying not to say anything too degrading... retarded. Yes, I said it. If you have not picked up the new Haddonfields LP, you are retarded. I've been listening to the mixes since June and I still can't stop playing it!!!

So like I said, before the retarded part, we have a ton of stuff going on starting tomorrow and going right into the new year. First, tomorrow night,December 17th, FREE SHOW!!!! The Disappeared, Black for a Second and Popular Mechanics are playing at the Off Broadway in St. Louis. This is a sponsored event by the wonderful people at Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Second, Saturday December 19th at AB's Place, there is a Rock and Roll art/craft show. We will have a table set up and we will be drinking a plenty and I will try to convince people that the screen printed record jackets and our home made shirts and hoodies are a “craft” and that they should buy them all. I'll most likely be sitting by myself and just getting drunk. And after that is over, I will be heading to the Broadway Bistro Zoo where The Haddonfields are playing with the Hail Mary's and there will be a bunch or Burlesque dancers, a.k.a. underpaid strippers, for the event, which is being called Tits for Tots. I think the show is free if you bring a toy. I know there are toys involved and you should probably bring one or five, it's for a good cause!

After that we have a full New Years Weekend. Everything starts off on Thursday, New Years Eve. Great show planned: Black for a Second, The Wifflers, The Haddonfields and The Disappeared. This is also at AB's Place. $8.00 to get in, cheap food and more importantly, cheap drinks. I mean seriously cheep drinks. The guys in the Disappeared keep telling everyone that there is going to be a fun surprise that night. Last year they did a Quicksand cover set. I have no idea if they are planning the same type of thing again or not.

Then on Friday morning, at 9:00 am, I have to get in a van with The Disappeared and make the drive to Elgin, IL for Ian's Party! The D is playing at 6:30 at Mad Maggies, with Brickfight, Pretty Boy Thorston, Das Kapital and a bunch of others. I'm not even going to have time to puke in the morning!!!

Saturday morning, it will be get back in the van and head back to St. Louis so we can all meet up at The Way Out Club for The Haddonfields, Pretty Boy Thorston, and The God Damn Doo Wop band. This will be the last of three extremely heavy days of drinking.

And finally, to top this all off, I think we are going to have a couple of camera's with us that weekend, and if everything comes out good, this might be our first DVD. We'll see....
